Lately we can't seem to shake quotes, everywhere I twist or turn I see quotations. The idea of sharing wisdom, fun and any other form of quotations seem to enrich our own online existence. Other than sharing holiday pictures of your trip to Hawaii, we choose to dig up old sayings and believes that inspire. It's often that I come across one that takes control of my mind for an entire day and makes a serious attempt to adjusting my point of view on certain things. It is for this reason that I have decided to share my most favorite quotes with you every Sunday. So, tatatatadaaa, a new weekly topic on my blog: "The Quote Generation".
The quote featured above made me reconsider the impact of fashion on our society. How much of our own personal dressing choices effects our being? As jeans once indicated labour and rebels, what would society be without clothes and uniforms? No longer defining formal, leisure or even nudity would gender- and culture differences still shape our identity? Or more importantly, would fashion exist?
I would really like to hear what your thoughts are on this?
