With admiration and a little jealousy I sometimes look at the blow-dried heeled women in Amsterdam. "I should do that more often" crosses my mind, which often only ends up in painted nails and a quick glance at my sky high Alaïa's. I would almost say I don't really care, but that would be naive with a history in blogging as mine. I am that girl that carelessly rubs her eyes where she'd just gently applied a rich smokey eye on and besides her red lips also marks a red stain on her nose after continuously sipping on her glass of red wine. Not to mention the endless battle with blowdryer and brush that usually ends up in one messy situation.
"I should do that more often", seriously? How?
I like to make an effort for a good look, but at the same time I hate to be aware of my appearance. Once applied and dressed, things should feel like a second skin and no longer seek for attention (aka uncomfortable heels, dry lipstick, the volume of my hair). Fashion and beauty should be easy, yet polished. And believe me, that's easier said than done.. ;-)
