It was about a year ago when I had been infected by the peplum hype: every single top had to be peplum-shaped. It was only yesterday when I browsed through my cupboard looking for a nice combo that I rediscovered the joy of wearing peplums. Since I generally like to cover myself up in blacks, knits and jeans it is the flamboyant shape of peplums that make me feel like one happy, cheerful and bubbly dresser (even if my face states otherwise in the pictures shown above). So even though peplums have gone out of fashion this last season, I think I am just going to hang on to this one, for the sake of bubbliness :).
