Friday morning, I hear the flickering sound of my mailbox followed by a muffled hit on the doormat. As a quick look on my calendar clock reveals, that must be the September issue.

As most of us think of the documentary whenever speaking of the September issue (if not, shame on you), with the hysterical scenes of production and the oh-so amazing Grace this special month issue is much more than just a big and stressful happening for the editors offices. 

September, the end of sales season and the definate beginning of a new fashion. Magazines (and stores) bring the spectacle of the already shown (and craved) fashionshows to life and new trends, styles and inspirations are born. Winter makes its anual comeback and this time Vogue Netherlands and Elle Netherlands showed me how...

Hollands finest shatter bright, Ymre Stiekema and Doutzen Kroes rule the covers. As Vogue and Elle immediatly indicate, fashion has become a collection of the precious, a collage of inspirations and an elegant meeting between the match and the contrast. Girls, this season you can't go wrong, fashion is rich, quirky, a bit chaotic and sometimes still truly sober. What more do you want? The ultimate musthave...? The beloved statement coat (a bit oversized please for the dramatic effect). 

Again, make sure to forget the rules, the cliches and have some fun !
