Yesterday my country was filled with joy and pride, it was a memorable and historic day. We celebrated our last Queensday (the day we celebrate the birthday of our queen in the entire nation) and welcomed our new king, Willem-Alexander. With the emotional expressions of our royal family, the juvenile and innocent behavior of our very young princesses, the spectacle of many happenings all accompanied by a sea of overly festive and joyful people - made me see how lucky I am to be living in The Netherlands (yes, yes, soon again). I guess it's not a typical subject for my blog, but since you might also celebrate soon (announcement winners of giveaways) I thought I might as well share the experience.
