PARIS FASHION WEEK, SHOW 1: GROUND ZERO

Tuesday, the first day of Paris Fashion Week that was mostly about young and upcoming designers. I was so lucky to visit two shows in between my classes (yes, school continues).

With some hesitation I entered the venue of the FW13/14 Ground Zero show. Some online research had shown me the explosive prints and colors used in previous collections by the brothers Erin and Philip Chu. And explosive it was, as well as the bright color palette that marched down the runway. But somehow hesitation made place for excitement and before I knew it I was actually falling for these colorful graphics, while imagining myself in it. Space was clearly their inspiration given the 'Galaxy' prints, futuristic shaped shades and boxy jackets, which we have already seen in some collections this previous season, but Ground-Zero managed to introduce us to another translation.

Though I'm not the person for colorful outburst, I would definitely see myself shining in that red jacket, or the blue 'Galaxy' peplum top will do too :)

Check out what I was wearing to the show here.
