PARIS FASHION WEEK VOL. I

 S H O P P I N G    T I P S    P A R I S

For those who are not active on my Twitter, Facebook or Instagram (lizachloe), SURPRISE! I attended Paris Fashion Week this weekend. To be honest, the trip was scheduled to officially apply for a master program in Paris, but obviously I couldn’t resist on catching some of Paris’ (or the worlds) coolest appearances. Besides the international fashion shows, the usual shopping addresses of cutest boutiques, finest malls and must-visit concept stores filled my couple of days.

Here’s my ultimate shopping list for Paris:

Le Bonne Marche
Besides Barneys NY this shopping mall has the best brands and the coolest accessories. Make sure you visit the young department in the other building.

Colette
What's new? Never heard of Colette? You should be ashamed!

Merci
This sustainable lifestyle store is the new must-visit of Paris.

Printemps
Everybody's always talking about La FayetteI prefer Printemps. They have it all and the ambiance is perfect for some nice shopping.

CommedesGarcons
Just because in the Netherlands it isn't easy to get your hands on CommedesGarcons, this is an obligatory stop for me in Paris.

L'eclaireur
Not only because of the design of their stores, but also for their contemporary collections you should visit L'eclaireur. And if you can, you should visit them all!

Hermes (Rue de Sevres)
Obviously we are not able to buy anything here, but the design of this store is mindblowing and will make a great impact on you for sure!

Montaigne Market
High fashion for high prices. Here you can check out the world's best ready-to-wear pieces. Most of the times I find it quite a tacky selection of each season but this shop is great for an overall orientation.

Joseph (Avenue Montaigne)
Apart from the cool brand Joseph, the entrance of the store is really cool. They also sell Proenza Shouler, Isabel Marant, junya watanabe and many more.

L'aduree
Everybody should get a taste of these typical Parisien delicatessees. They are quite overpriced but they are exceptional! My favorite? Vanilla.

Marche aux Puces at St-Ouen
This vintage fleamarket provides you with the most amazing stuff. Modern design furniture, vintage Chanel suits/bags, acient Vogue's or any sort of respectable junk. I always pay a visit whenever I am in Paris on a Sunday. The ultimate way to make your friends jealouse over a Chanel suit you bought for a questionable price.

Reports on all the shows I've seen during Paris Fashion Week will soon follow...
