Recently I got asked in an interview to share my most iconic styling tips. As I immediately responded with "I just do something random", I figured after all these looks I must do with the intension of dressing "right".
My dressing procedure always starts off with the piece I am most certain I'd like to wear (in the outfit above that was my new crop top), followed by a thorough search for the combination that has a certain added value or even better, a contradicting value.
An added value could be anything, a matching color, an eye-catching bag or a pair of magnificent shoes. But a contradicting value ? Indeed, I like to contradict my style within my looks. Wait, let me explain. By choosing a boyfriend/shredded jeans in combination with a classy tight-fitted crop top, I tend to give outfits more power.
