SHREDDED T-SHIRT. IRO.
SKINNY JEANS. ACNE STUDIOS.
When I started blogging about 3 years ago I figured putting my photos somewhere online would save me many Gigabytes on my laptop. And as all the photos I actually had were inspiration images from school projects, my digital visual archive automatically became my hobby, my blog. I would spend hours searching the web for new visual inspiration, just to keep this hobby of mine alive and spirited. As time went by my hobby turned into a public expression, others were discovering it as my Google Analytics proclaimed. I found it awkward and odd, what was the message I was sending across? Had I fully understood the consequences of my online existence? Did I want people to know more about me than I knew about them? My love for writing and visual culture took the lead and today I am forever thankful they did.
I still remember the day the Amsterdam Fashion Institute called me to tell me I had been accepted. Tears of happiness and unbelief were the first traceable signs of my passion. Six years have already passed since that day, but nothing really changed, emotionally. Just like that day my heart breaths FASHION.
And here I am, nowhere near to the top, but living some of my wildest dreams..! Yes! These upcoming two weeks will be truly unforgettable, believe me.
To be continued...
