Taking down all guards and facing the truth. I am addicted. Nailpolish seems to be part of my life, my daily routine. I'm always on the hunt for the newest color in town, any town. Enough symptoms to state that I am indeed an addict. However, I believe nailpolish should be an accessory, not an extravagant eye-catcher. Therefore all my nailpolish try-outs are easy, fast and basic, as is the Ombre look. << Apply your basecoat. When the basecoats has dried, apply the dark silver nailpolish with a sponge right next to your cuticle. Repeat this step until you have the right amount of color. To finish the look gently apply the lighter silver polish, just to get the ultimate ombre look. That's it. >>

Not many nail tutorials will follow - since, as I said, I believe in simplicity. The beauty of a simple color can be enough to do the trick. Which is why I have chosen to include my choice of nail polish to my future outfit posts.

    ombre on nails? this is beautiful. I've seen gradient done but nothing like this. can't wait to try this out on my boring ol'd nails !
