Claes Iversen SS12

Thursday evening, somewhere in the sub urbs of Amsterdam in an empty business building Claes Iversen showed his Spring Summer 2012 collection.  The collection is inspired by the high-class American woman of the 60'ies and 70'ies. The lively and bright color pallet is inspired by California-based painter, David Hockney. The collection blew my mind, especially the minimalistic subtle designs with amazing details that passed my eyes. Cuts and materials so perfect, even though refined with edgy details (think exposed zippers, unfinished lining) made this collection more than just interesting to watch. Big applause for Claes Iversen, clap, clap!
